Hindu Calendar
The Hindu calendar follows both the Moon and the Sun. Its months follow the Moon, and each day has a tithi (lunar day). In some years an extra month is added, which keeps the year in step with the Sun. Each year page below lists that year’s festivals, Ekadashis and monthly vrats, month by month.
