Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki: Lyrics and Meaning
आरती कीजै हनुमान लला की
Traditional (old printings name Tulsidas or Ramanand in the last line)
Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki ("let us wave the lamp for dear Hanuman") is an aarti, a song sung while a lamp is waved before God, usually at the close of worship. It praises Hanuman as the one who destroys the wicked and as a part of Rama's own power. Many families sing it after the Hanuman Chalisa, often on Tuesday or Saturday, the days long kept for Hanuman.

IAST
laṅkavidhvaṃsa kiye raghurāī |tulasīdāsa svāmī kīrati gāī ||12||
Our explanation Raghurai, Lord Rama, destroyed Lanka. Swami Tulsidas sang his glory (kīrti). (Swāmī, "master", is a title of the singer here; some read it as "to his master".) This line names the singer; the 1900 printing says he sang this aarti, and another old form of the aarti names Swami Ramanand here instead.

About the Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki
The aarti recalls Hanuman's deeds in the Ramayana: Rama sends him off with the bīṛā, the betel leaf given to the one who takes up a hard task; he brings news of Sita and burns Lanka; he brings the sanjivani herb when Lakshmana falls; and he goes down to the underworld to tear out the arms of the demon Ahiravan.
The oldest printing found is a collection of devotional books printed at Cawnpore (Kanpur) in 1900–01 (Samvat 1957), with the refrain and twelve couplets; a Bombay book of 1913 prints the same couplets. It is the cited source. The words shown follow the ones most families sing today wherever present-day printings agree, for example "laṅkā so koṭa samudra sī khāī" where 1900 has "laṅkā aise koṭa samudra aisī khāī"; the 1900 reading is listed under each couplet that differs. The last couplet, which names the singer, is in the old printings and in some present-day ones, but not in all.
The two old printings end with the name Tulsidas, the poet of the Ramcharitmanas. A shorter form of the same aarti, printed in Kashi in 1923–24 and again in 1929, ends with the name of Swami Ramanand, the teacher of the Ramanandi order, and has two couplets not found elsewhere. No source outside the song settles who made it, so it is shown as traditional.
How to say it
Sung Hindi drops the final short "a" (Hanumān, not Hanumāna), though the IAST line writes every vowel as spelled. The 1900 printing joins small words to the word before ("ललाकी", "रामजीके"); they are sung apart ("lalā kī", "rāmjī ke"). "लङ्का" is the same word as "लंका" (Lanka), written with the nasal letter. "॥ टेक ॥" marks the refrain, sung again after each couplet.
